This page is continuously updated. From the 1st of June 2022, refugees coming from the Ukraine are entitled to unemployment benefit (Arbeitslosengeld II). The jobcenter also answers all questions on how to start a new job in Germany. You can get information on the requirements for entering the German labour market.
Requirements
The following documents are required for the application to the jobcenter:
- Application documents (downloads)
- Passport
- Fiction certificate
- Health insurance certificate
- Bank account
- Rental contract

- Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 15:30
- Fridays from 08:00 to 12:30
